Scottish LifeNo new money is invested with Scottish Life but some members still have funds invested in the Crest Secure Plan.

The Crest Secure Plan is administered by The Royal London Mutual Insurance Society Limited (Scottish Life is a division of Royal London). This fund operates in a similar manner to a bank account – i.e. interest is added each year to the Fund.  As the name suggests, it is a secure contract where interest monies are added and are not taken away.  A declared rate of interest is announced each year by Royal London and updates the individual accounts at the next scheme anniversary (1st April).  The declared rate is not directly linked to the performance of any specific fund but instead, reflects the return on investments made by Scottish Life/Royal London over its entire portfolio of investments.  The declared rate allows for all expenses and administration charges.

If you have funds with Scottish Life you will receive an AVC benefit statement around June each year.

Equitable LifeNo new money is invested with Equitable Life but some members still have funds invested with them. Click here to find out more about the with-profits fund.

If you have funds with Equitable Life you will receive an AVC benefit statement around June each year.
